K9 Brite Bite is owned and operated by me Linda Hopkins. The cosmetic cleaning is always done by me personally. I take pride in my work, reputation and trade.

What I do:

I would describe my service as very unique in the dog world. It is a combination of grooming and cleaning of the teeth through relaxation, love and positive reinforcement. I have a gift or knack when it comes to animals, particularly dogs. I am skilled in the art of canine relaxation.

My Technique:

I apply gentle touch to pressure points. I use the techniques of gentle massage, a soft voice and calm body language to get your dog relaxed. I use calm assertive energy.  When your dog is totally relaxed I remove the visible tartar from the surface of the teeth with a dentifrice, sponges, gauze and similar sterile items, and then polish. I make every effort to reach all the teeth. If your dog is uncomfortable in any way I will stop.

My Goals:

  • Relax your dog completely so I can clean the tartar off the smile line surfaces of the teeth. This would be the upper outer and lower front surfaces.

  • Help educate owners on the importance of oral home care for their dogs.

  • To get your dog to associate my service as a positive experience. This way at your next visit your dog will see me and immediately look forward to our time together.

  • Promote optimal health & well being of your dog by encouraging regular veterinary checkups.
